Third-party liability insurance:
-
This is the most basic form of two-wheeler insurance; hence, also the cheapest. If your insured bike is involved in an accident for which you are responsible, this insurance offers protection for the damages caused to a third-party. The coverage of third-party liability insurance includes injuries or death faced by third party. It also offers cover for damage to third party property.
Comprehensive two-wheeler insurance:
-
Comprehensive two-wheeler insurance offers complete protection to the life of the policyholder and also the insured bike. Essentially, if your insured bike was involved in an accident, the insurance will provide compensation for damages to the bike and for injuries/death suffered by you. The comprehensive insurance policy will also provide third-party liability coverage. Protection from theft and natural and man-made calamities is another part of the comprehensive cover.
